33 So then, any of you who does not forsake (renounce, surrender claim to, give up, say good-bye to) all that he has cannot be My disciple.

Sacrifice for the Lord Jesus
When I played football at Florida State, I had a mindset to sacrifice whatever for the team. In the picture I was returning a kick off and wanted to get extra yards so I decided to jump and dive over the defenders. I didn't think about being injured or about pain I was only concerned about gaining yards for our team. I sacrificed my body for the team. Football is just a game and people shouldn't think this way but there was even a point in my life when I thought it was an honor to die on the football field. I gave everything I had to the game of football.
Now, my mindset is different and I am willing to sacrifice anything for Jesus. My wife and I made many sacrifices to get to where we are today. In 2011, my wife quit her job and we moved from Michigan to Texas to serve the Lord. It was a rough transition as I was supposed to play another season in the United Football League but it didn't happen. It was tough but we kept moving forward and God always came through. In 2013, thats when the Lord gave me the vision to start a ministry called BelieverZ N Da Hood. We went to urban city areas to preach the Gospel and made street ministry videos.
The ministry has grown and is now changed to Playmakers In The Faith. Sports is universal and we aren't just looking to impact a small group of people. We are looking to impact the world. I have made other sacrifices like selling my FSU Jerseys, helmet, and national championship rings to help get this ministry started. I just want people to know Jesus so whatever it takes I am willing to do. God has given me a vision for a T.V series to help spread the Gospel worldwide. I believe all of this came to pass because we made sacrifices and were obedient to what God has called us to do. Please brother or sister make sacrifices for the Lord and do whatever it takes so other people can be blessed and know Jesus. People's souls are on the line and they need to know about Jesus.
