Daily Play Call #4

3 I tell you, No; but unless you repent (change your mind for the better and heartily amend your ways, with abhorrence of your past sins), you will all likewise perish and be lost eternally.

Luke 13:3 AMPC

We all must repent!

Repentance is making a change. If the team continues to stay in the illegal formation, they will continue to be flagged. They have to have 7 men on the line of scrimmage in order for it to be a legal formation. Once they move out of the illegal formation, then they are able to move forward and make plays. We cannot repent and stay in sin (illegal formations).

From my high school to junior season in college, I lived a life contrary to the Bible. I was drinking, smoking weed, selling, and was living in fornication (pre-marital sex). I believed in Jesus but my lifestyle did not back up what I believed. It wasn't until 2009 when I was in the NFL, a pastor named Sean Moore preached the truth of the Gospel. What he said was convicting but it was truth. It was hard to accept but I knew what he said was right. I repented and decided it was time for me to fully submit to God and live for Him.

Paul Preached repentance

20 But made known openly first of all to those at Damascus, then at Jerusalem and throughout the whole land of Judea, and also among the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works and live lives consistent with and worthy of their repentance.

Acts 26:20 AMPC
