31 Only aim at and strive for and seek His kingdom, and all these things shall be supplied to you also.
Luke 12:31 AMPC
Seek 1st the Kingdom of heaven
In 2015, I remember praying to the Father and asking Him to make a way to where I can do full-time ministry and also take care of my wife and kids. This prayer request was in line with God's will for my life. This prayer request wasn't answered until 2017. In 2017, I became an assistant football coach and track coach at Cypress Christian School. When I first got there I made sure to always keep Jesus and His Kingdom 1st. I would sometimes hold short Bible studies in between breaks at practice where we would talk about the Word of God. Yes, I desired to win games but my desire to please God and for His people to know Him was greater and more important to me. Within my first year of coaching we won two state championships. We won in football and also in track in field.

Also in 2017, I became a youth pastor and was able to minister to the youth ages 12 - 18 each Sunday. This time as a youth pastor was truly a blessing because I grew a lot in the faith. I was able to spend more time in the Word of God, deny myself, and truly see what our Lord Jesus wants us to teach.

Finally, in the beginning of 2018 I became an area representative with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. This was truly a blessing because I was able to go into the schools and preach the Gospel to athletes and coaches. I was able to serve in 3 areas of ministry while the Lord provided for our needs. God always comes through.
*In the 2022 football season I began coaching at Fort Bend Christian Academy, and always put the Lord Jesus first in our practice and games. I had a similar situation happen in my first year there coaching, we ended up winning the State Championship. All glory to the Most High God and His Son Jesus Christ.
