Do not doubt!
As Christians we must have unwavering faith in God and His Word. We must believe beyond doubt. In order for us to get to place where we have a great measure of faith, we must be consistent in the Word of God daily. Faith comes by hearing and by hearing the Word of God, Romans 10:17.
We cannot be double minded. Anyone who is double minded will not receive anything from God.
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
James 1:5-8 KJV
Jesus says that the one who prays and asks God without doubting shall receive.
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Just believe God and don't doubt. God ALWAYS COMES THROUGH!
